Improving your Personal Effectiveness

Course Outline

This workshop assists participants improve personal effectiveness through personal accountability. It examines the Thought System to understand how our beliefs, values, conscious or unconscious, creates a lens through which we experience the world and by understanding this process, learning to stop and challenge ineffective thoughts or behaviors. The course will also emphasize ways in which participants can remain forward-focused (vs. backward-focused) and help them understand that how we view our individual situations is a choice. Participants will also work on a personal area of focus.

Workshop Duration: 4 hours

Course Objectives: At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the parts of the Thought System
  • Describe the characteristics of being Forward-Focused
  • Identify one area of focus and the tools needed to work on it
